On the Road with CASP

From the moment CASP arrives at your show, our crew works to make communications at your event complete. More than 7500 watts of amplification feed a distributed 70-Volt system, zoned for optimum coverage of the general admission areas. Additional amplifier zones and speakers are assigned for your VIP section with subwoofers for an enhanced audio experience. Just like you see here on You Tube! You can also read about our use of complex speaker designs here at the Community Professional Loudspeakers site.

On the deck, two Icom A-200 radios, a David Clark DC-500 intercom, and the advanced X11 electronic noise canceling headsets provide the air boss and his assistant with crystal-clear communications over the radio and their cell phones - right through their headsets. No more pushing back one side of the headset, shoving your cell phone up to your ear, shouting over jet engine noise and struggling to communicate with important people. The X11 has a jack to directly connect your cell phone to the headset.

The deck is spacious with plenty of room for air boss, assistant boss, FAA monitors, show and guest narrators.

Below deck is the sound system that carries not only the narrators’ commentary and music to the audience but the easily operated “live from the cockpit” transmissions system that puts the audience “in the airplane” with the performing pilot. Narrators no longer have to pick up a hand-held radio and hold the microphone to the speaker. CASP’s radios route the cockpit audio directly into the sound system for the highest quality retransmissions possible.
